Un Vin Presque Parfait: A quality label to the general public

On June 26th, Labouré-Roi took part to the 6th edition of the competition “Un Vin Presque Parfait” (a quite perfect Wine) : a French distinction label declined from a famous TV show.
Fabrice Sommier, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (French Master Sommelier) 2007, aimed to get an uncompromising selection, and therefore rigorously selected a team of professional sommeliers to achieve this tasting based on 3 criteria:
– The organoleptic qualities
– The wine’s value
– The packaging of the bottle

At the end of the blind tasting and packaging presentation, seven (7) Labouré-Roi wines were selected for the 2016 Paper Guide which comments are also available online:
Our Nuits-Saint-Georges, our Gevrey Chambertin, our Côte de Beaune-Villages, our Bourgogne Pinot Noir and our Red Coteaux Bourguignons, in our Burgundy range, all of them in the 2014 vintage.
And two (2) wines in our “easy drinking” range have also been selected : The 2015 Cuvée des Princes Rosé et our 2015 Chardonnay Vin de France.

Here is the backstage video of the 2016 edition.
